Nikith Sai Dheekonda is a Cloud Application Administrator at Ellucian with diversified work experience in different fields. He has relevant experience in industries like Start-ups, Research organization, Defence PSU & MNC. Nikith's current role involves migration of applications to ECS using Zapp, migration of Oracle database to 19C using the pipeline, Oracle database administration, handling the regular database clone activity across environments, migration of web services from weblogic to tomcat, upgradation of Oracle database to 19C via ansible and other technologies, automation of tasks through Jenkins and Ansible, upgrade and deployment of applications via Jenkins, and case and incident management through Service NOW. Before joining Ellucian, Nikith worked as a Deputy Engineer at BHEL where he was an Oracle Database Administrator for India’s reputed defense project. He managed, synchronized, and administered the replication of critical data between several data centers in India using Oracle Goldengate. He also worked on RMAN scripts, Full EXPDP dump scripts, and Tape library (HP Data Protector) deployment for critical backup and recovery solutions. Nikith has experience in root cause analysis (RCA) of the Oracle RAC Database outages, collection & analysis of the database and cluster logs through TFACTL, creation and monitoring of SRs from Oracle, installation, patching, and administration of Oracle database, and cloning of the database. He has also performed site acceptance test (SAT) and database destructive test cases for customers, network & data storage administration, and analysis of system performance using OSWatcher. Nikith holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from S V National Institute of Technology, Surat, and a Master of Technology (MTech) degree in Software Systems, Network and Cloud from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, WILP Program. He also completed his intermediate from Bhashyam College of Education and high school from Bhashyam Public School. Nikith's tech stack includes Ansible, Jenkins, ECS, Terraform, Web, and Research Scientist. With 1.52 years of relevant experience, Nikith is a skilled Cloud Application Administrator with a diverse skill set and a strong background in database administration.
